Welcome to DecipherWorld, a game-based learning platform operated by GyanLearn Edusolutions Private Limited ("GyanLearn", "we", "us"), a company incorporated in India. By using decipherworld.com or any DecipherWorld game (together, the "Platform"), you agree to these Terms. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these Terms on your behalf — features involving payment or contact details may only be used by an adult.

1. What the Platform is

DecipherWorld offers learning games — beginning with Lemonade Empire — that teach maths, entrepreneurship and financial literacy for Grades 6–8 through simulated gameplay. The Platform is an educational aid: game content, coach explanations, progress measures and reports support, and do not replace, classroom teaching, tutoring, or professional educational assessment. In-game money, banks, loans, interest and taxes are simulations for learning; nothing on the Platform is financial, investment, legal or tax advice.

2. Accounts and guest play

Games can be played with an anonymous guest identity. You are responsible for the device you play on; progress attached to a guest identity may be lost if browser data is cleared. Where an account or subscription exists, the parent or guardian who created it is responsible for it and for all activity under it.

3. Subscriptions and payments

Some features (such as a Parent Pass) may require a paid subscription, purchased by an adult. Prices, billing cycles and inclusions are shown at the point of purchase. Payments are processed by third-party payment providers; we do not store your card or banking details. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled, and can be cancelled any time with effect from the next billing cycle. Refunds, where applicable, are handled per the refund terms shown at purchase and applicable law.

4. Acceptable use

• Do not attempt to cheat leaderboards, tamper with game data, probe or overload our systems, or access other players' data.
• Do not enter unlawful, abusive or impersonating names or content anywhere on the Platform.
• Do not copy, resell, scrape, or create derivative products from the Platform without our written permission.

We may suspend or remove access, scores, or content that violates these Terms.

5. Intellectual property

The Platform — including games, characters (such as Munshi Uncle), artwork, text, code, and the DecipherWorld and Lemonade Empire names — is owned by GyanLearn or its licensors and protected by law. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Platform for personal, non-commercial learning. Schools and institutions require a separate licence — contact us.

6. Availability and changes

We work hard to keep the Platform available and improving, but it is provided "as is" and "as available". We may add, change, or retire features, games, or content at any time. We are not liable for loss of simulated in-game progress, currency, or scores.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GyanLearn's total liability arising out of or relating to the Platform is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim (or ₹1,000 if you paid nothing). We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.

8. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what data we collect and how we protect it — especially children's data. It forms part of these Terms.

9. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at New Delhi shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have.
